Many thanks to our sponsor Mary from Capstorm (www.capstorm.com) who presented to the User Group and hosted a wonderful evening at Mez (@Mez_Durham) last week. There are so many people to thank for the event, including the amazing (she was born to) emcee Amber Boaz (@amber9904), her emcee assistant Lauren Jordan (@SaaSyGeek). Also a big thanks to Kortney Cervantes (@kcervan2), who was the force behind the meeting's structure, organization, and assembling all the questions (she did all the hard work to make it seem easy!) - If it weren't for her, the rest of us wouldn't have had so much fun! Thanks Kortney, Lauren, and Amber for entertaining the rest of us while we learned a bunch about Salesforce and Capstorm's copy & restore solutions.
I liked our format a bunch this time: fun and entertaining Salesforce content with an informative Salesforce Partner/Event Sponsor presentation. I know Sandbox management is tough and I love the use case of Capstorm's copy & restore product to update the Sandbox data without having to do a refresh. We all know that can take awhile!
Here are the big winners who got some (dollar store) swag, framed copies of the snazzy logo we made, and bragging rights!
And look down below.... We took time to take a rare group shot of the folks that came out to have fun! I hope folks enjoyed the event as much as I did! Please let us know if you attended if you want to do this format again, and if you missed it if you'd be interested in joining the next one!
Finally, we have a few action items ;) we have more pictures to share, of the mingling and the emceeing which was - phenomenal! So we will post those once we get them off the (old-fashioned-doesn't-connect-to-the-internet) camera And we plan to have a future post about how to host your own Salesforce trivia night with some resources we used so you can recreate for your local UG event!
